ROAD TRIP!

“Question”, he says, “Are you going to let me have you?” I say, “Why do you want me?” He says, “Because you’re so creamy”. Then he stops himself and says, “Wait a minute, we need to just wait and do it right”. I’m thinking to myself, “Now sir, you want to wait until everything is right”!?!

After everything that has happened so far, now he thinks I can wait? Well, good luck with that! I was really feeling like I needed that question answered so I asked again, “why do you want me?” He says, “Girl you are something else”. I say “that does not tell me why you want me”. And he says, “Just know that I do”. That still didn’t help me and after a 6 hour conversation earlier today, and a joke about “jelly”, I sense that this is about to turn into something that will change our relationship.

I’m thinking that I don’t know what to think of us now. We probably need a break so that he can handle things (his divorce, his kids, his soon to be ex-wife, his phone, his relationship with God, and his business). I’m starting to think that I distract him from the important things that he really need to handle. But, just to see him this afternoon was so good, even though he has a lot on his mind. Things on his mind that I can’t even begin to help him with.

I can’t believe he still wants me to go with him tonight even with EVERYTHING that is going on in his world. Oh well, I guess I’ll see him tonight, maybe this trip will tell us what we need to know about each other. The true test, make or break.
